EDISON, N.J. — A conference-record 2,963 student-athletes have been named to the 2020-21 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Academic Honor Roll, the organization announced. Of the record-number of student-athletes to earn the honor, eight members of the Hartford women's golf team received the distinction.

Freshmen Leah Jones and Sofia Rodas, sophomores Teagan Devoe, Hannah Drew, Lara Yeung and junior Isabelle Premkumar, joined seniors Allie Tully and Brooke MacKinnon on the MAAC Academic Honor Roll.
 
To be eligible for the MAAC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The Academic Honor Roll is open to both full-time and associate members in the MAAC. 
 
The women's golf team saw all but one of its nine members (88%) land on the list, with seven members posting a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. Devoe and MacKinnon led the way for the Hawks with perfect 4.0 cumulative GPAs.

As a department, Hartford enjoyed an outstanding semester in the classroom in Spring 2021 with each of its 17 NCAA Division I programs posting at least a 3.46 GPA or higher. Women's golf checked in with the second-highest team GPA in the department (3.87) behind four perfect 4.0s from Drew, Premkumar, Devoe and MacKinnon.
