Indoor Event Policy (Basketball—Chase Arena inside the Reich Family Pavilion)
Â
Both Student Spectators and Guest Spectators will be allowed to attend home basketball games.
Â
Masks are required to be worn properly for the duration of the event by all spectators and staff. Due to growing evidence that cloth masks are not as effective at protecting against the Omicron variant, students, employees and visitors are now required to wearÂ
three-ply disposable, KN95, or N95 masks on campus.Â
Â
Vaccination status will be checked at the door for Guest Spectators including children aged 12+. University policy considers "fully vaccinated" to mean an individual has received both doses of the Pfizer/Moderna vaccines, or Johnson & Johnson's vaccine. Individuals must also show proof of a booster does, if eligible.
PLEASE BRING PROPER PHOTO IDENTIFICATION and PROOF OF YOUR COVID-19 VACCINATION TO THE EVENT. Digital versions of COVID-19 vaccination cards are accepted. Unvaccinated individuals or those without proof of vaccination will not be admitted and required to leave campus—with the lone exception of children under 12 who are allowed, provided they stay masked at all times.Â
Â
New this year, current University faculty and staff only need to provide their University of Hartford identification upon arrival to be admitted to the game free of charge. All guests of faculty and staff members, will need to provide a photo ID, show COVID-19 vaccination proof, and pay the cost of admission. Â
Â
Students must enter through the Student Entrance door closest to Health Services and will be seated in the West Bleachers. UHart IDs will be checked at the door and students must check-in at the game using the provided QR code through the Hartford Hawk Rewards app.
Â
Guests of student-athletes and coaches (parents, recruits, etc.) must be registered on a pass list through ARMS. Hartford guests will be seated in Sections 109–110 and visiting team guests will be seated in Sections 106–107.
Â
In compliance with NCAA distancing guidelines between student-athletes and fans, courtside seats will not be offered.
Â
Concessions will not be sold at the Reich Family Pavilion, though fans are allowed to bring beverages in aÂ
sealed plastic bottle. Glass bottles and aluminum cans are not permitted.
Â
The Gordon McCullough VIP section will be closed to the public for the duration of the season, with the exception of approved University-sponsored events.
Â
Guest Spectators may park in Lots L or M. Season-ticket holders have the option to enter through the rear entrance of the Reich Family Pavilion. Single-game purchasers and pass list members must enter through the main entrance (closest to Lot L).
