WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — Hartford women's soccer coach
John Natale has announced the addition of seven newcomers for the upcoming 2019 season. The incoming class includes four players from the Nutmeg State, one from Florida and three international players.
"We are looking forward to this talented group of players stepping in and helping us continue to improve the winning culture that we have established throughout the years," said Natale. "Our conference continues to get stronger every year, and this group of players will be tasked with helping us as we continue to compete for America East Championships."
The seven newcomers join a Hartford team that is coming off its fourth America East Regular-Season Championship in the past five years. Under Natale, who enters his 16th season at the helm, the Hawks won 13 regular-season games — the most since 2011 — in addition to posting the program's highest winning percentage (.824) since 1997 after going 13-2-2.
