BOCA RATON, Fla. – Junior
Elias Gross fired a 2-under 70 on Sunday to lead the Hartford men's golf team with a 29th-place finish at the Florida Atlantic University Spring Championship. The Hawks finished the three-day event in a tie for 12th place.

TOURNAMENT HIGHLIGHTS
- Opening the event with two rounds of 73, Gross finished with an even-par 216
- Following Gross was sophomore Eric Evans, who carded a 4-over 220 to finish tied for 42nd
- Sophomore Matthew Schwab (5-over 221) tied for 48th for the Hawks, while senior Sam McNulty tied for 65th (11-over 227)
- Led by Bobby Bai, who won the individual title, and Kyler Tate's second-place finish, UCF finished first among the 14-team field with an 829, seven strokes ahead of host-team FAU
