BOX SCORE
PHILADELPHIA, PA – The University of Hartford women's soccer team scored its first victory in the young 2010 season with a 2-0 defeat of the Drexel Dragons in the opening game of the Temple Owls Tournament. The Hawks improve to 1-1 on the season and will next play the host Owls on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
Arielle Aikens opened the season scoring with her first collegiate goal in the 10th minute. She stole the ball away from Drexel keeper Nicole Sinclair and scored on an open net.

Hartford then struck again in the opening second of the second half when junior Breeanna Robinson scored her first goal of the season off a feed from Nicole Weil. Robinson's goal, 15 seconds into the stanza, came from the top of the box and sailed over keeper Victoria Troccoli who started the second half for the Dragons.
Hartford outshot the Dragons in the second half with seven shots, compared to just one for the opponent. Four of those shots were on goal, forcing Troccoli to make three saves, five total in the game for the Dragons.
The Hawks outshot their opponent by a 13-7 margin with Hawks keeper Lauren Brodeur being forced to make just one save in the game, that coming in the first half.
