WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - Hartford baseball head coach Jeff Calcaterra announced on Tuesday the dates for the Calcaterra Baseball Academy's fall prospect clinics. Two clinics, each two days long, will be held. The first is scheduled for September 11-12, and the second will take place October 16-17. Each will be conducted at Fiondella Field on the campus of the University of Hartford. Both camps will be open to high school players, giving the student-athletes an opportunity to be evaluated by the coaching staff at the University of Hartford as they pursue opportunities to play at the next level. In addition, invitations will be sent to area colleges and universities to observe the camp.

The camps will consist not only of baseball skill instruction and evaluation, but also will include a recruiting seminar to give high school students pertinent information as they enter the process. In addition, campers will be given the opportunity to attend the Hartford Hawks' baseball team's practice and participate in game action against their fellow campers.

A maximum of 60 student-athletes will be admitted to each session. Prospects interested in pre-registering for the September camp must do so by September 1; prospects interested in the October session must sign up by October 6.
