Men's and Women's Tennis Drop 7-0 Decisions to Stony Brook

, CT - The University of Hartford men's and women's tennis teams dropped 7-0 decisions to America East member Stony Brook this past weekend. Neither team was able to win a set. The men's team is now 3-13 overall (1-8 in the Spring), while the women's team drops to 0-11 on the year and 0-8 in Spring action.

 

The men's best match came at number three singles, where Kyle O'Leary dropped 6-3, 6-1 decisions. The Hawks first doubles team of Artur Muller and O'Leary also played tough to the end before dropping an 8-7 decision.

 

On the women's side, the best match came at second singles, where Stephanie Schnobel dropped 6-3, 6-0 sets to Claudia Sanua. The first doubles team of Schnobel and Kasey Michels were the only pair to win a set in doubles, dropping an 8-2 decision.
