West Hartford, CT - The University of Hartford women's tennis team dropped a pair of conference matches of the weekend, 7-0 at home against Binghamton and 6-1 on the road at Albany. The Hawks are now 0-3 in conference play and 0-5 during the spring season.
The Hawks picked up four games in the first singles position against Albany and two against Binghamton, with Racquel Casino playing number one singles for Hartford. She was defeated by Albany's Aimee Kern 6-1 and 6-3 and lost 6-2, 6-0 to Binghamton's Juliana Umeki.
Stephanie Schnobel and Liz Weiner also picked up game victories in their respective singles play.
The women's tennis team will next be in action on Tuesday afternoon when they host Providence at 3:00 p.m.
