West Hartford, CT - The University of Hartford men's soccer team played a 110 minute stalemate with the Vermont Catamounts at Al-Marzook Field on Saturday afternoon. Prior to today's game approximately 40 alumni ranging back to the beginnings of men's soccer at Hartford gathered to play the annual alumni game at Al-Marzook Field. The Hawks honored the members of the Alumni prior to the game including “The Father of Hartford Athletics” A. Peter LoMaglio. “It was a historic day today with a record turnout of alumnus today,” said Gaspar. “A win would have made the day perfect, but it is important to reconnect with the alumnus and plant a seed for the future.”
